Montclair Emergency Directive

SUBJECT: EMERGENCY DIRECTIVE TO IMMEDIATELY SUSPEND ALL OUTDOOR AND INDOOR SWAP MEET EVENTS AT MISSION TIKI DRIVE-IN THEATRE, 10798 RAMONA AVENUE, MONTCLAIR, CA 91763

On Monday, March 16, 2020, the Montclair City Council adopted Resolution No. 20-3263 declaring a local public health emergency in the City of Montclair in relation to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In declaring a local public health emergency, the City Council invoked Section 6.080.060 of Chapter 6.08 of Title 6 of the Montclair Municipal Code providing that the City Manager, as Director of Emergency Services, is empowered to "make and issue rules and regulations on matters reasonably related to the protection of life and property as affected by such emergency."

Senior Transportation Program

 

This transportation program provides free curb-to-curb service for senior citizens age 60 and older who are Montclair residents. The service includes transportation to the Senior Center and general errands within Montclair city limits. Service outside Montclair is limited to medical appointments only.

Participants must be pre-registered and have a signed waiver of liability on file before participating in the program.

Reservations are required a minimum of two days and a maximum of two weeks in advance. Reservations are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hours of Operation: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For information or an appointment call the Transportation Coordinator at (909) 625-9452.

This program made available through funding from the City of Montclair, San Bernardino County Department of Aging and Adult Services, and the San Bernardino County Economic Development Department.
