9473 Central Avenue
An unknown Hispanic male suspect entered the business and put two employees at gunpoint, forcing them to lay down on the ground behind the register. The suspect proceeded to take the money from the unlocked register. The suspect fled the business on foot southbound through the parking lot towards Palo Verde Street. No additional suspects or vehicles were seen in the area. Any information please contact the Montclair Police Department.

9509 Central Avenue
On 10-06-17 at 1530 hours, the suspect entered Boost Mobile store (9509 Central Avenue, Suite A) and brandished a firearm. As the suspect held the store associates at gunpoint he then demanded money. The suspect was able to take an unknown amount of U.S. currency from the store's cash drawer. The suspect fled the scene on foot. Officers are attempting to identify the suspect.

Central Avenue/I-10 freeway
On 09-3-17 at approximately 1853 hours, Montclair Police Officers responded to the area of Central Avenue and the I-10 freeway regarding shots being fired. Witnesses reported the suspect was seen standing in the street next to a green minivan. After firing multiple shots, the suspect possibly entered the minivan, which was last seen driving northbound on Central Avenue from the I-10 freeway. Officers are attempting to identify the suspect, vehicle, and possible victims in the incident.

September 29, 2017 1:12 p.m.
10477 Central Avenue
On 09-29-17 at approximately 1312 hours, the suspect stole an unoccupied vehicle from the Drive Time Auto Dealer in Montclair. The keys were left in the vehicle at the time of the theft. The vehicle was located by GPS with the assistance from the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department helicopter. The vehicle was traveling eastbound on the Interstate 60 Freeway where officers initiated a pursuit near Country Village Road after the suspect failed to yield to the officer's emergency lights and siren. The suspect evaded officers as it traveled eastbound for several miles into the city of Moreno Valley. The vehicle exited the freeway onto surface streets where the suspect failed to stop for a red light and caused a traffic collision with another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured. The suspect continued driving for a short time before colliding into the center divider, which disabled the vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody immediately following the collision without incident. The suspect was treated for complaint of pain at a local hospital. The suspect was later booked at the West Valley Detention Center.

9200 Monte Vista Avenue
The suspect walked into the leasing office of an apartment complex and asked for information about renting a unit. When the victim got up to assist him, the suspect wrapped his arm around her neck and started choking her while pushing her head forward. This caused the victim to pass out temporarily. When the victim regained consciousness she was able to fight the suspect off. The suspect fled the office and was last seen running south through the complex. While conducting an area check, the suspect was located exiting Montclair Place and was taken into custody.
June 1, 2017 10:26 a.m.
800 block of Orchid Street, Upland
On June 1, 2017 at about 10:26 a.m., Detectives from the Montclair Police Department were in the City of Upland, following up a possible lead on an identified armed robbery suspect from an incident that occurred on May 30, 2017. Detectives were driving in the 800 block of Orchid Court, when the suspect was seen near a vehicle. The suspect attempted to flee in the vehicle and abandoned his car near the end of the cul-de-sac. A second unknown suspect also fled from the vehicle.
The Upland Police Department immediately began to assist while other Montclair Police Department personnel responded to the scene. The robbery suspect led officers on an extensive foot pursuit through a school and within the surrounding neighborhood. The robbery suspect was located hiding under a vehicle in the 700 block of Magnolia Avenue and was taken into custody without incident. The unknown suspect avoided apprehension and his involvement is under investigation. A firearm was located in the abandoned suspect vehicle. The robbery suspect is currently being held on robbery and firearms related charges.
The incident from May 30, 2017 was a robbery involving two armed suspects. It occurred during a sales transaction in the 4500 block of Mission Boulevard, in the City of Montclair. The victim agreed to meet with the suspect for the sale of items. The second suspect is still outstanding at this time. The Montclair Police Department is following up leads, including any connections to other similar incidents.

9419 Central Avenue
The suspect entered the Wienerschnitzel and brandished a black semi-automatic pistol. The suspect demanded the money from the cash register. The clerk emptied the register and placed $500 of U.S. currency in a white plastic bag. The suspect fled with the money to the awaiting listed vehicle, and was last seen driving southbound through the alley towards Palo Verde Street.

10292 Central Avenue
Police officers arrived to the scene and located an employee who stated an unnamed subject was found deceased in a back office. Officers entered the business and found the subject in an office hanging from exercise equipment. Montclair Fire Department arrived and pronounced the subject deceased at the scene. San Bernardino County Deputy Coroner responded to the location and stated the apparent cause of death was suicide.

4700 Canoga Street
On 4/27/17 at 1459 hours, officers responded to shots fired in the 4700 block of Canoga Street. The victim was located and stated he had been in a verbal altercation with the suspect. The suspect returned to his residence and retrieved an unknown firearm. The suspect discharged the firearm at the victim's residence striking a window and damaging the structure. The suspect fled, prior to officers arriving, in the listed vehicle from the location. Officers were able to locate and retrieve the firearm used at the scene. There were no victims that were injured. The suspect was identified and is still outstanding. The investigation is still ongoing.

10200 Monte Vista Avenue
On 2/28/17 at approximately 1531 hours, victim #2 was babysitting her younger sister. She heard a knock at their front door. When she looked out the front door peep-hole, she saw an unidentified suspect standing on their porch. Becoming suspicious and feeling afraid, victim #2 hid inside the residence with her younger sister. She subsequently telephoned her mother and told her the suspect was knocking on their front door. While speaking with her mother, victim #2 heard the suspect kicking the front door. The suspect was able to gain entry into the residence. Victim #2 heard the suspect enter the master bedroom, which is adjoined to the bathroom she hid in. Victim #2 heard the suspect ransacking her mother's property. Shortly after, the suspect left the residence without discovering victim #2 hiding in the bathroom. Montclair Police Officers to include a K-9 Officer, conducted an extensive search for the suspect, however he was not located and remains outstanding.
Suspect #1 - Black male adult between 20 to 30 years of age. Suspect had a bald head wearing a dark colored sweatshirt and jeans.
February 27, 2017 10:40 p.m.
8972 Central Avenue
At 2240 hours, we received a call from Carl's Jr. Restaurant regarding a robbery which had just occurred. The victim and his co-worker were robbed at gun point after the suspect entered the restaurant and produced a handgun demanding the money from the register and safe. The suspect then ordered the victims in the office and he fled in an unknown direction. The area was searched and the suspect was not located.
Suspect #1 - Hispanic male adult in his 30s. Suspect is 5'5", 145 pounds, with blue eyes wearing all black clothing.
January 14, 2017 3:22 p.m.
4830 Canoga Street
Officers responded to the 4800 block of Canoga Street regarding an altercation and "shots fired." Officers arrived within minutes and located a victim lying on a second floor balcony with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers began life saving efforts, however the victim was transported and pronounced deceased at a local area hospital. A second victim was located at another hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and was in stable condition. One suspect was arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, and a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He was booked at the West Valley Detention Center. A second subject was arrested and released after questioning. The investigation in ongoing and the Montclair Police Department is seeking information as to any other person(s) of interest involved in the incident. 9015 Central Avenue
On 1/14/17 at approximately 0610 hours, three Black male adults robbed a Starbucks at gunpoint. One suspect hit victim #3 several times in the head before making him unlock a safe. One suspect made victim #2 open a cash register at gunpoint. In total the suspects stole approximately $900. The suspects then fled the scene on foot.
Suspect #1 - Black male adult, 23 - 25 years of age wearing a red sweatshirt, black jeans, and black shoes.
Suspect #2 - Black male adult, 23 - 25 years of age wearing a red sweatshirt, black jeans, and black Jordan shoes.
Suspect #3 - Black male adult, 23 - 25 years of age wearing a black leather sweatshirt or leather jacket.
