Pursuant to GC § 36933(c)(1), the City must publish a summary of a proposed ordinance or a proposed amendment to an ordinance provided that the summary is posted in the manner specified in GC § 36933(a) at least five (5) days prior to adoption of the proposal and within fifteen (15) days after adoption with the names of the Council Members voting for and against the proposal.

Summary
The Ordinance would increase the monthly compensation paid to the Mayor and members of the City Council from $1,150 to $1,438, and would increase the additional stipend paid to the elected Mayor from $500 to $750 per month. The increases would go into effect after the results of the November 5, 2024 General Municipal Election are confirmed, but not earlier than January 1, 2025.
