NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. the Montclair City Council will conduct public hearings in the Council Chambers at 5111 Benito Street, Montclair, CA 91763, at which time all interested parties are invited to appear and be heard, to consider the following items related to the formation of Community Facilities District No. 2025-2 (Alexan Kendry Expansion):
- Resolution No. 25-3480 Establishing Community Facilities District (CFD) No. 2025–2 (Alexan Kendry Expansion) and the Boundaries Thereof
- Resolution No. 25-3481 Calling a Special Election and Submitting to the Voters of CFD No. 2025–2 (Alexan Kendry Expansion) a Proposition for the Annual Levy of Special Taxes within Said CFD to Pay the Costs of Certain Services to be Provided by the CFD and Establishing an Appropriations Limit for Said CFD
- Resolution No. 25-3482 Declaring the Results of the Special Election for CFD No. 2025–2 (Alexan Kendry Expansion) for the Propositions Concerning (I) the Annual Levy of Special Taxes to Pay the Costs of Certain Services to be Provided by the CFD, and (II) Establishing an Appropriations Limit
- First Reading – Ordinance No. 25-1012 Authorizing the Levy of a Special Tax for CFD No. 2025–2 (Alexan Kendry Expansion) [CC]Consider Setting a Public Hearing to Conduct Second Reading and to Consider Adoption of Ordinance No. 25-1012 on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers

INVITATION TO BE HEARD: All interested persons will be given an opportunity to comment on the above-referenced items at the public hearings and any subsequent public hearings conducted related to the items. In addition, written comments may be submitted to the City Council prior to the hearing in-person at City Hall during business hours (Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) or via U.S. Mail to the attention of City Clerk’s Office, City of Montclair, P.O. Box 2308, Montclair, CA, 91763; by completing the online public comment submission form at https://www.cityofmontclair.org/public-comment/; or via email to cityclerk@cityofmontclair.org. Please reference the hearing subject and date of the hearing in any correspondence.
If you wish to challenge any of the above items in court, the challenge will be limited only to those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearings in written correspondence delivered to the City at or prior to the public hearings as described in this notice.
