Montclair has a few rules in place for our furry friends. All dogs are required to have a dog license. This helps other people know your dog is vaccinated and helps you find your pet if they are lost. Unless at a dog park, please keep your dog on a leash when not on your own property. A barking dog can be a noise violation so please be mindful of your pet.
The City contracts with the Inland Valley Humane Society (IVHS) to provide animal control and licensing services to Montclair residents. IVHS is a full-service facility, offering education, pet adoption, and care for sick or injured animals.
