Development Process & Fee Schedule

Project applicants often want to know how the development process works.  While City staff relies largely on its own Municipal Code and the California Building Code to review projects for compliance, there are other external guidelines that the City is responsible for reviewing and implementing, such as the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and surface water drainage criteria established by the Regional Water Quality Control Board.  A general summary of Montclair's development review process can be found by clicking on the link below.
