Safe Routes to School – Orchard Elementary School
This section of the Safe Routes to School Project (SRTS) is still currently in the design phase and this page is subject to change at any time. Residents can expect to see construction towards the end of 2026. The City intends to install upgrades around the highlighted area that include, but are not limited to, raised pavement markers, improved striping, upgrades to existing stop signs to have flashing LED lights, installation of a HAWK system (high-intensity active crosswalk beacon), and upgraded pedestrian crossings at uncontrolled locations.
